![]() ![]() Well that'll be all for now I guess, I wont even dig illfonic for any more info now I see IGN are taking an interest, just hope they keep it up. The same people who are trying to get the game sidelined. Thats another reason I'm excited I get to leave these people behind and not get harassed almost everyday. If you do though, beware of the forum, you'll probably trip over some horrible words on there and whatever. but you could always look at the exile nexuiz forum where I reported all of this news on March 5th. It will also have a skill matching system, it wont support mods like the current nexuiz and unlike UT3 for PS3 it wont have mouse and keyboard support.Īt least the mouse and keyboard thing should have been obvious. I think it's the way the mouse and keyboard setup lends itself to the gameplay. Like Quake or Unreal you will either be good, average or tragic. Every game needs a skill set where everyone is separated, thats how you make competition. There are some community rage about this, but in the end, we will have two awesome games, GPL Nexuiz (PC) and Nexuiz (PS3). The screenshots for the game are glorious. is very special news that Nexuiz (the community open source deathmach game) will spawn a game in the PS3 platform. ![]() It has downsides on a PC, you can easily get beaten by someone new as it's rather newbie friendly which is pretty bad. Modders don't post news about Playstation 3 often. I've been playing Nexuiz on the PC just after a few weeks since it was released. Then theres those with a pad, gaming with pads is indeed harder and much more complicated which is why so many PC users complain about superiority. On one hand theres one that can only deal with a mouse and a few numbers. This game on a PC pretty much has it's ups and downs, theres the PC gamer and there is the console gamer. The kinds of kids who play Modern Warfare religiously are the kinda dopes who are going to drop out of college because of crap like that. That's how more games should be if you ask me. Pick it up, play, kill some people, get killed by more, have fun and walk away. These persistent shooters are great, but christ, there HAS GOT to be more games like UT, Quake 3 and Nexiuz coming out. In this day and age when shooters encourage you do ignore the real world and play a ton to get more perks than the competition, there are probably plenty of people who are afraid to actually play a game that depends on skill and puts up a challenge online.Īnd while it's more hardcore in that sense, it's also friendlier than crap like Modern Warfare, MAG and Bad Company 2 with regards to just picking it up and playing. But this is one of the fastest, 100% skill based shooters out there. Also, it IS free on PC, so you should play it there first. If you're a fan of CoD, Halo and other modern games, don't bother - that much is true. Also known as the greatest competitive shooter ever made. Nexiuz is awesome, because it's built on id Tech 3, the technology behind Quake 3 and Quake Live. ![]()
